Flying High with Frontline

Motor industry finance software provider, Frontline Solutions, has handed over a cheque for £3,250 to children’s charity Childflight.

The money was raised through a charity auction, hosted by FA legend, former premiership referee Jeff Winter. The auction was part of the first Annual Motor Finance Broker Conference and dinner organised by Frontline. It was the generosity of the motor finance brokers that contributed to such a successful evening.

ChildFlight, based at Manchester Airport offers flights and holidays for sick and deserving children of all ages. Whilst the voluntary team for ChildFlight provide the expertise, enthusiasm and administration, it is the generosity of many companies, organisations and individuals in raising and donating money that makes this project possible.

Frontline has recently announced that it will be supporting ChildFlight on a regular basis.

Andy Shuter at Frontline Solutions commented: “We chose to support Childflight on a regular basis as it provides such a worthwhile service for children that truly deserve to be taken care of. The team at Childflight work extremely hard and it is Frontline’s pleasure to be able to support them.”

Dave Horner at Childflight said: “On behalf of Childflight I would like to thank everyone at Frontline who helped to raise this money. We rely on donations to be able to provide such a service, without donations the Childflight project would not be possible. I look forward to developing our relationship with Frontline.”

Guest speaker at the dinner, Jeff Winter commented: “The conference and dinner was a great success, it was my pleasure to be involved in such a great event. The generosity of the brokers was outstanding; ChildFlight is a great charity that deserves such recognition.”

Special Knight for Yorkshire!

Managing Director of Frontline Solutions, Andy Shuter has become a Knight of Yorkshire as part of a fundraising scheme for the Huddersfield Town 2010/11 season in association with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The Knights of Yorkshire scheme is on a quest for 100 heroes who are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to raise at least £1,000 for the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign. The ‘Keep It Up’ campaign was launched in 2009 and raises money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Huddersfield Town Football Club Youth Academy.

As a reward for raising money for such a life saving cause, all Yorkshire Knights will be given a Huddersfield Town season ticket for the 2011/ 12 football season once they have raised £1,000. In addition, each Knight will be entered into a ‘Super Draw,’ with the winner receiving a squad number for the 2011/12 season.

Andy Shuter commented: “I am really proud to be part of such a worthwhile campaign; I’m really looking forward to planning how I am going to raise the £1,000. Every year The Yorkshire Air Ambulance saves hundreds of lives, they rely solely on donations to be able to do this, and it is my pleasure to be able to contribute to this life-saving service.”
